If you’re looking for one of the most talented typo-design-agency, you found one today: Silnt is a design practice based in the republic of Singapore. Established in March 2005, the studio is made up of two partners, Feliz NG and Germaine Chong.

IN 2011, THE DIVISION OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE, GAINED INDEPENDENCE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE.
IN LINE WITH THIS TRANSFORMATION, WE DESIGNED THE DIVISION’S IDENTITY, BRAND GUIDELINES AND A RETROSPECTIVE BOOK TO CELEBRATE THEIR 2010 – 2011 ACHIEVEMENTS.

BRACKET IS CONCEIVED AS A PUBLICATION THAT FEATURES EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. IDEAS, VOICES AND PROCESSES THAT ARE OVERLOOKED AND UNDER-APPRECIATED.

THE COLLECTION FEATURES 8 VOLUMES TO BE PUBLISHED FROM NOW TILL 2012 ON TOPICS FROM CRAFT, HUNGER, ETHICS TO FAILURE.

 

THE A2 LARGE FORMAT PAPER IS PRINTED ON 100GSM EURAL OFFSET.

ADAPTER

THE SINGAPORE ART MUSEUM AND FARM INVITED SILNT TO MADE FOR SAM – A RE-INVENTION OF EVERYDAY ITEMS INTO A SPECIAL RANGE OF FUNCTIONAL AND INSPIRING OBJETS D’ART THAT MUSEUM VISITORS CAN TAKE HOME AND USE IN THEIR DAILY LIVES. OUR BRIEF WAS TO DESIGN A PENCIL CASE FOR GROWN-UPS.

 

THE ADAPTER IS A FLEXIBLE PLUG-IN THAT CAN BE USED ON ALMOST ANY CYLINDRICAL OBJECT – LIKE A CUP OR A GLASS BEAKER, AND TURNS IT INTO AN ORGANIZED PENCIL HOLDER.
