Katarzyna Widmanska, born in Krakow, Poland is a fine art, fashion, portrait and beauty photographer. She is also a filmmaker and cinematographer for the Redrum Image company. Katarzyna main art’s subjects are women – both in traditional portrait and fashion photography, as well as series of thematic pictures. In these cycles, depicting various themes and motifs, the artist creates an atmosphere with stylized props and a game of light, often inspired by the achievements of masters of old painting.
Graduated artistic education in Fine Arts at the Art Institute of the Pedagogical University in Cracow, she is the winner of the Ars Quaerendi Prize for outstanding activities for the development and promotion of Polish culture, plus a Long-term lecturer of photography (Warsaw School of Photography, Krakow Film School).
