Hang-Up Gallery are highly excited to announce that they will be participating in this years Moniker Art Fair, 17-20 Oct. The team will be heading down to the Truman Brewery to display brand new works from artists Mark Powell, Joe Webb, Magnus Gjoen and Lauren Baker. Don’t miss it!
The four artists will each bring something new to the tabel – pushing their practices further and promising something completely new, fresh and exciting.
Biro artist Mark Powell recently had a sell out show with Drawing on History in August. He’s been busy creating his strongest works yet, with some very large-scale drawings on vintage maps and documents to wow the crowds yet again.
Collage artist Joe Webb will be displaying his current quirky retro collages alongside some oil paintings – a new and exciting direction for the artist.
We’ll be showing some fantastic works by Magnus Gjoen in materials never worked with before. His delicate images of beauty and death will be enhanced with lightboxes, gold leaf and wooden panels.
New artist Lauren Baker will be displaying her dreamlike neon lightning sculptures as well as an infinity mirror in the shape of a 6ft coffin.
We can’t wait to reveal the new works and have many more surprises up our sleeve, so come down to Moniker Art Fair to see the gallery in all it’s glory!
